Hi Steve,

tMapper is being rebuilt due to Google Maps significant price hikes.  Here is 27.V.4.c.2.6 and immediately below it is the National Library of Scotland extract.

Thanks Edward, I make that 27.V.4.c.2.5 and that places it right over the cottages.

So that's where he was treated or he fell? A PM I got said this"Hi Steve 1975

The 95th Field Ambulance headquarters which treated your Granddad was located at Hondeghem at location Sheet number 27?.V.4.c.2.6. this is a trench map location. They were there on the 1/5/1918. Perhaps someone on the forum will give you the correct sheet number. If you trace this map location you will know the exact location where he was treated." So that's where he was treated?

Bingo!  Now you know the exact location he was treated.  Sheet 27 SE quadrant, 3rd 1:10,000 sub-quadrant.  From McMaster University:

Hondeghem 27SE3 V2
