Yes the battalion were involved in the first phase on 25th September and were withdrawn on 26th. I do recommend you read the war diary which has an account of their part. For context you should also read: http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/battles/battles-of-the-western-front-in-france-and-flanders/the-battle-of-loos/ noting the part played by 15th Division on 25th September.
