Third picture is the rear sight protector from a SMLE the last picture is the charger for 5 x G98 rounds

Top photo looks like a shattered barbed wire picket base.

2nd picture looks like the flash tube from an 18 lb shrapnel shell. This transmitted flame from the fuze to the charge in the base of the shell that expelled the shrapnel balls.

Many thanks Mark & Gunner Bailey.

I thought the first was part of a screw picket but didn't know the others, that's why the forum is great with such knowledgeable people like yourselves. I can now look up more information on each part.

I have a peaceful corner in my garden where i put all my field finds which to me mean so much more than just rusty iron.
