Listed as a war casualty in a number of places, including the Calcutta Gazette. I can't find him on CWGC.

Entry in London Gazette seems a little brutal....Half pay cancelled and then King approves retirement and grant of honorary rank in consequence of wounds dated January 1918.

Cause of death in this case would have to be the result or aggravated by his military service  for him to be included by CWGC. Pneumonia following influenza unfortunately will not fit the bill.
