This odd little satchel, haversack, bag came from the same estate as the other WWI air service ephemera I've recently gotten. I've no idea what to call it or what it was used for. Is it air service or not relevant to other items in the collection?

Carrier for a Thompson S.M.G  M.1928 Fifty round drum magazine.?  I had such a magazine pouch which looked identical apart from the leather re-inforcement around the pop fastener; which may be a repair. - SW

I must agree with the above. I once had one myself, WW2 dated and not quite as well made. Not WW1.
