Terry_Reeves Posted 9 August , 2019 Share Posted 9 August , 2019 Gaz They were not a type of hut, but the name of the hutment that they were billeted in. The Chinese Labour Corps had a camp at Busseboom so there might be a connection. I have a reference to other hutments including " Warwick Huts" on the Somme: https://www.ww1cemeteries.com/blighty-valley-cemetery.html# TR
MaxD Posted 9 August , 2019 Share Posted 9 August , 2019 Check out the 52 Brigade diary for the period. It has a number of relief tables that cite the Dragon and other huts around and about the Ypres area. Sometimes map references are, you should be able to work out where they were.
