Remembered Today:

Something and nothing

It is something and nothing this one, but it has intrigued me a bit.

A clip off some service papers (1914) shows a soldier had one daughter Mary born at Ancoats on 2.10.05

I can't figure out what it says before 7.3.16 - but she definitely didn't die in 1916.

Any ideas please?

D/4??

I suspect it probably notes a verification for some sort of dependent purposes (some Army Forms starting D/4XX were used for these sorts of purposes)
