Mark1959 Posted 21 July , 2019 Share Posted 21 July , 2019 Brien has a WFA Card. Although SWB list shows discharged due to wounds the card shows pension paid for amoebic dysentery attributable to his war service.

Mark1959 Posted 22 July , 2019 Share Posted 22 July , 2019 (edited) I have had dysentery. South America. Not something I would wish on anyone; Brien has my sympathies. I was 5000 metres up a volcano at -18C when it started. I will leave the rest to everyone's imagination. Needless to say I did not summit. Lost 30lbs in a little over a week.
