I took this at the  royal welsh regiment museum Brecon thought it may be of interest  to GWF

Very impressive.

 

For the record, the medal is at the Royal Welsh Museum at Brecon (as in South Wales Borderers) rather than the Welch Regiment in Cardiff Castle

to be honest we only went to THE ROYAL WELSH(CH)MUSEUM at BRECON to see the zulu exp,while there I did take the above photo,as we walked around a woman came up to me and asked if I thought the museum good,I said being a bit of a ww1 buff yes,right she said come with me I want to show you something !!:w00t:

she took me to the display case where Williams medals were displayed,then she said he was my grandfather,man what a thing to be able to say,me being a visitor,her living in Kent what a privilege for me:poppy:
