AC00 Posted 3 July , 2019 Share Posted 3 July , 2019 Hi Would anyone be able to help me identify the era for the cape shown in the attached image. I believe the cape is possibly early 1940's I have just come into procession of it so at this time can give no marking etc. However I believe the picture speaks a thousand word any help appreciated
Andrew Upton Posted 4 July , 2019 Share Posted 4 July , 2019 It looks like a standard 1930's/early WW2 production MkVIII groundsheet - have a look at:
Chris Henschke Posted 5 July , 2019 Share Posted 5 July , 2019 what appears to be a 1 inch hem and lack of brass grommets makes it look like a Mark VIII, probably mid Second World War. Let us know of any markings when you get it. Chris Henschke
