tbirduk Posted 24 June , 2019 Share Posted 24 June , 2019 I have searched both Ancestry and the National Archive site but can not find a Service record for RNVR Z/6563 Albert Nash, a Telegraphist who died 13 Nov 1918 aged 19 (dob 16/2/1899) and was buried in Haslar Cemetery whilst posted to HMS P40 Is this because he was RNVR (presumably) without service in a theatre of War? wandererpaul Posted 24 June , 2019 Share Posted 24 June , 2019 The record is on FMP https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=GBM/ADM/337/028571
wandererpaul Posted 24 June , 2019 Share Posted 24 June , 2019 It’s here on the NA website https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/D7684013 £3.50 to download. On ancestry, it’s here, but only the transcript.
horatio2 Posted 24 June , 2019 Share Posted 24 June , 2019 It would appear that his name has been omitted from the ADM 171 RNVR medal roll.
