Field Ambulance war diaries ??

I have found the Admission lists for 139 FA in MH 106

but

did FAs have their own War Diaries

the reason I ask is that I have the names of three RAMC men who were attached to a MGC Company - from the same division (41st)

and I'd like to know more about them

I think that most Field Ambulance diaries have survived. They can be found under the division in which they served, and should be available to download online from both TNA and Ancestry.

 

I think that some diaries have information on individual patients, but the majority do not. It was not part of the function of a War Diary.
