Hindoo Stan Posted 21 June , 2019 Share Posted 21 June , 2019 Hi Pals, each year we have a group of about 15 mad people visit Ieper to walk over three days the Ieper 100K Peace March in May/June. This next year I'd like to ring the changes & look for new hotel accommodation so I'd like to ask forum members for advice. We are looking for a town centre hotel/b&b within the ramparts which is basic & good value & provides breakfast only. What are your thoughts please? Peter Le Duc Posted 21 June , 2019 Share Posted 21 June , 2019 We stayed at the Novotel. It does B&B and is a 2 min walk from the main square and the Menin Gate. They also gave us a free parking permit Novotel Ieper Centrum Flanders Fields Sint-Jacobsstraat 15, Ypres, 8900, BE Phone: +3257429600

sassenach Posted 24 June , 2019 Share Posted 24 June , 2019 Correct. I'd go for the Hotel O or maybe the New Regina. I doubt you'd get a b and b that takes that number of people. The Albion is excellent but a little more expensive (but still, usually, cheaper than the Novotel.)
Sapper D. Posted 26 June , 2019 Share Posted 26 June , 2019 On the same note as Hindoo Stan's question: "Could anybody be so kind as to recommend me a good B & B within the Ramparts for 3 adults - each his own room & wet room"? Thanks, already!
