1/Wellington NZEF war diaries

Has anybody any information as to the exact whereabouts of the 1/Wellingtons on 7th and 8th June 1917, other than Messines, trying to pin point exact locations for when I am out there next week

Thanks JP, I have seen this.  It gives their starting position on the 7 June, and is a bit vague as to exact location on 8th

Many, many thanks.  Exactly what I was after.  BTW, is it easy to search for the Kiwi war diaries, and are they all on lone now?

No they are not all digitised yet. 

 

1st Wellington infantry regiment is the only regiment done out of the four regiments.

Not sure about the rifle brigades and other corps.

 

Here are the Offical History of the regiments at the NZETS in book form and free
