Hi

I am looking for any information on this soldier all I know is he was killed 3rd July 1916.

And was in the Warwickshire Regiment

I'm not sure what research you have done. His CWGC details are here: James Greenfield CWGC.

There are some medal details on Ancestry which state he was in the 10th Battalion and did not earn a 14/15 Star:  James Greenfield MICJames Greenfield Medal Roll.

If you don't have Ancestry, you might be able to access it for free at your local public library.

Well, the CWGC states that he "died" on 3 July, as distinct from stating he was KiA that day.  He is commemorated at Thiepval so has no known grave.  It is possible he could have been wounded in action a day or two earlier or, perhaps, could have been one of those who were buried alive, according to the war diary:

They were in the area of La Boisselle.
