Remembered Today:

Dinnaken House, Flers closing

After 15 years of providing a self-catering house in the Somme village of Flers, we are advising our GWF visitors that the home will be shortly closing. We are grateful to a number of GWF members who became regular visitors and hope to meet up again when we visit the battlefields in the future. We will miss the lovely views over the village green and the 41st Division memorial plus the welcoming villagers and neighbours who have become our friends. The house will now revert to a local residential home

May we politely request that the administrator of GWF removes Dinnaken House from the accommodation listings and similarly any Great War website owners that have linked up to our website. The Dinnaken House website will continue to run for a while longer should anyone have any queries.

Many thanks

Dinnaken House owners.
