Hi

Embarkation roll here - https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/P10610892

Nominal roll here - https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/P10926067

It is strange his service record is not listed on NAA, you could send them an email asking what happened to it?

regards

Robert

I just found this - https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/ViewImage.aspx?B=9094916

Well it’s fantastic did it take long to do ? Is it s very advanced copy of photoshop do you to select each colour individually. I ask cos I have a photographic studio and I didn’t realize that could be done we often get asked

It took less than an hour to do but I do have a folder full of references to work with. I use the colour replacer tool usually but if repairs are needed I would use the clone stamp tool. With the replacer tool different opacities can used to give highlights with lighter colours, mostly on skin.

The link to his 56 page WW1 Service Record: https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/ViewImage.aspx?B=8008848

Cheers, Frev

Edit:

A letter from his father (p.41) states his Baptisimal name is Tom (not Thomas)

His father's service record: https://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/ViewImage.aspx?B=8010389
