Hermies Hill visit

Recommended Posts

chaz

Hopefully , next week we will be calling over to Hermies Hill to attend the burial service for three soldiers. Possibly manage to take some photos while there. Depends on weather and wether we also go along to Loos in the afternoon. Bit of a rush to do both , but I suppose it's easier for the CWGC attendees to be out of the office on one day.

Hi Charles,

Obviously going to be a busy day but if there is a window is it possible to get 3 headstone pics, please.

Horace Uchtred SMITH in Grave I.F.22

Arthur John GREEN (DEAN) Grave II.G.39

Joseph Allsopp in Grave I.H.32

(Green is his real name, buried as Dean     https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/300179/dean,-/  strangely no grave details on CWGC))

No problems if it is not possible, do not ruin the day out for yourself if there is a problem.

Many thanks,

Regards,

Graeme
