No trace anywhere that I can find of this mans death. A report in the Rochdale Observer 4 5 1918 has him being killed 22 3 1918 . Born Rochdale 1893 son of Thomas R and Elizabeth Holt , two brothers according to the 1901 census. What is his number ? where is he buried/commemorated ? enlisted where ? Any help much appreciated. Baffled of Milnrow. Ralph.

His service file is quite hard to read, but it does state killed in action, them m.i.a., prisoner of war and later repatriated.

Good to see he survived, I can find a death in 1964 which matches...aged 70.
