Guest Posted 3 June , 2019 Share Posted 3 June , 2019 Forgive me if this is a duplicate post, but I wanted to ask anyone that can help with providing a source using which I can I identify many, many ribbons. The ribbons are from all around the world, spanning mid 1800s to current. My wife inherited a collection from her grandfather. For the most part, he was very meticulous when it came to organization and labeling everything, but there is a large portion that is just loosely in a box, without any labels on them. It is a sizable collection (I estimate about 3000 ribbons) and I would like to keep the collection going, firstly by adding the unidentified ribbons to the collection. Does anyone know of a good database of war ribbons which I can use to identify them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Jim Strawbridge Posted 4 November , 2019 Share Posted 4 November , 2019 The Orders and Medals Research Society has a Ribbon Branch that would probably be well worth joining.
