Good evening chaps,

A very specific question, I'm trying to find out what the colours of the touries on the early 1915 blue balmorals were, and which regiments had which colour.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that patterns were sealed with both red and blue touries.

Hope you can help!

Yes, for Scottish regiments red and blue/black. The 'tourie' worn by the Black watch, Royal Scots, RSF, KOSB, Seaforths, Gordons, A&SH and Cameron High was RED; The Cameronians and HLI was DARK BLUE/BLACK.

Sorry for the long delay there Ron, yes I mean the Balmoral, not the Glengarry.
