Christo Posted 21 May , 2019 Share Posted 21 May , 2019 I am looking for the place where a private was killed on 25/09/1915 , am not familiar with the Battalions, Regiments, Divisions.... What I know is that he belonged to : South Lancashire Regiment 2nd Bn, under his picture says : 7th South Lancashires. It seems to me I have 2 possibilities : Battle of Loos or second Battle of Bellewaerde. Am I correct ? Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance. MaxD Posted 21 May , 2019 Share Posted 21 May , 2019 Second Bellewaarde 25 Sep 1915. CWGC records nearly 70 2nd Battalion fell that day. You should be able to find him on the CWGC site. 2nd Battalion were in 7th Brigade of 3rd Division (until Oct 1915).
