HBSA WW1 Commemorative Demonstration Film

Between 2014 and 2018 the Historical Breechloading Smallarms Association (HBSA) set out to collect together and demonstration fire as many of the smallarms used in WW1 as they could arrange. These demonstrations were recorded, and have now been edited into a WW1 Commemorative film. This film can now be viewed on YouTube.

To support this film, the HBSA has compiled on their website a comprehensive Index to the film, with identification and detailed data about each of the 70 individual smallarms demonstrated also available. (See comments for web site link)

The HBSA are very grateful to the numerous members and supporters who loaned and shot their prized historic firearms, to Maurice Kanareck and his colleagues for filming and editing, to the numerous members who helped to compile the data in the Index, to the NRA for all of their help in facilitating these shoots, and to the Home Office and Surrey Police for guidance with legalities.
