Bayonet trivia #8

Some of you guys are too good at this, so start with a harder pic, if stump you guys, will add pic of front, have 5 pics total. Like most rifles in Great War, the rifle is pre war, just like the Enfield, Gew98 and others, after war, another country bought some of these Bayonet's and shortened them for another rifle . Here goes

And we have a winner, Thanks Mike, I was thinking the forum was bored with these Bayonet Trivia's.

 

This bayonet should clean up a bit better . I was told the canvas frog is Ersatz replacement type.These Serbian 1880 's are scarce, but not rare, seem's like there are more seller's ad's for the cut down than the full length, most adds I seen have no scabbards and in fairly bad shape. Now, all I have to do is get the rifle to stick on the end of it!

 

By the way, have any of you seen or know on line , anything about this replacement canvas frog?

The bayonet had me completely stumped, but the frog is a British 1908 Pattern made by the Mills Equipment Company. (MECo) It’s had the entrenching tool helve carrier strap removed:
