I am attempting to discover further details on the RAMC service of Captain William E. Ainley, a Canadian doctor who served in Salonika. He was commissioned in the RAMC in 1915, and his medal index card states his service in Salonika was from 1 Nov.,1915. He later transferred to the CAMC in October,1916 and served in France.A check of ancestry and the London Gazette has given me basic information, and his Canadian service file is on line, but I have not been able to find out just what British unit(s)  he may have been with in Salonika. Any help would be appreciated.
