trajan Posted 20 May , 2019 Share Posted 20 May , 2019 What fun! I have a single Turkish example for a M.1903 - never seen a German one. "A.M.XI.6.35." is "6 Artillerie-Munitionskolonne des Armee Korps XI, waffe 35". "B.L.R.R.202" is "Bayerische Infanterie-Leib Regimenent Rekruten Depot Waffe 202" "B.2.R.R.322" is "Bayerische 2. Infanterie Regimenent Rekruten Depot Waffe 322" Julian
trajan Posted 20 May , 2019 Share Posted 20 May , 2019 Forgot to add - these are all 1909-style markings, even if they are for the Gew. 71. Before 1909 the second "R" indicating a recruiting depot would have been a script / italic one, and so e.g., "B.L.R.R.202". No idea as to the "crown / HL" marks...
