keithmroberts Posted 19 May , 2019 Share Posted 19 May , 2019 I suggest that you take a look at the guidance on The Long Long Trail. http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/soldiers/ This will give you advice on how to start your research. Your local library service will be able to provide you with free access to Ancestry or FindMyPast or possibly both. If you have exhausted these, then come back with details of whaere you have searched to save mmebers from duplicating your own research. Admin Michelle Young Posted 19 May , 2019 Admin Share Posted 19 May , 2019 Born in Hartlebury, Worcestershire. Remembered on the Loos memorial, I'm not sure whether he was one of the men left out of the September 25th attack owing to an outbreak of mumps. MaxD Posted 19 May , 2019 Share Posted 19 May , 2019 (edited) https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/1764701/hardwick,-john-thomas/ CWGC should be one of your first ports of call with men who fell. Parents detail will take you to hin in the 1901 and 1911 censuses. Max Edited 19 May , 2019 by MaxD
