Remembered Today:

Which Army Cyclist Corps Bn?

Hello

one of my wife's cousins 8257 Frank Raymond Hall served with the Army Cyclist Corps.  I have all the ancestry docs ( service record, MIC, MIR, Pension and Effects) for his service (died Royal Woolwich Hospital wounds 4 Jun 1918 and buried Bassingbourne cum Kneesworth CWGC cemetery).

His MIR entry has him in 39th DCC and XV CCB.

Can someone please confirm the acronyms DCC and CCB (Cyclist Corps Bn?)?  I can't find a record for a 15th Bn.  Is this 'Hertfordshire' related?

Many thanks for any help

Correction!  Second one is XV Corps Cyclist Battalion.  Sorry!

It is spelled out as 15 Corps on his AFB 103.
