Goodness, you have been busy!

"Our Braves who Fell in the Great War" followed by 13 names.

"Also Through the Effects of the War" followed by 5 names.

"            "Who Knows the Value of Your Sacrifice?"          "

The small plaque above the Second World War Roll of Honour states:

"The village was illuminted with electricity September 1950.

                                  In Memory

                      Of Those  Who Were Lost

                       In the Second Great War

                              1939  - 1945                  "

A surprisingly high WW2:Great War ratio of deaths, 15(I think) :18

Things like that are practical but not as long lasting as a structure, even a Memorial Hall can tend to go out of use and end up being knocked down.  War Memorial structures might end up in a poor state but can be cleaned, repainted, moved etc - they are rarely demolished.
