Indian Brass Hilted P1907 Bayonet Scabbard

Recommended Posts

Not sure if these are Great War period, but I thought the pointy things fanciers on the forum might be interested. It’s a locally made Indian P1907 scabbard which I recently acquired for my uncut RFI bayonet. It looks rather hand made compared to an Arsenal made scabbard. Eg. It’s held together with pins rather than wire loops. There are no maker marks.

That's a fun one! I have seen a regular scabbard over here with a fancy brass chape, but with a regular locket.

NICE! (full length Ishapore bayonets are tough to find!)

The brass fitted bayonet is also very uncommon. I am not sure what period they date from.
