Guest Posted 12 May , 2019 Share Posted 12 May , 2019 Hi, My Grandfather was transferred into the 1/24 London Regt in August 1918 from 12th Batt (Pioneers) of the Notts & Derby. His service number changed from 20588 to 72706 on compulsory transfer I understand he was awarded the MM possibly due to action in early September 1918, can anybody confirm where this might have taken place?
