Guest LGriffin Posted 29 January , 2005 Share Posted 29 January , 2005 Hello Everyone, Just a quick question, I wonder if anyone can help. I have the medals of an Edward Baker of the Royal Field Artillery, his service record shows he was a Shoeing Smith, S/S Corporal and later a Farrier Sergeant. Some websites I've seen suggest the Canadian Army distiguished these ranks/trades with a cloth horseshoe badge above the chevrons, was this the case for the British Army? Guest steveb21 Posted 29 January , 2005 Share Posted 29 January , 2005 Mate, If you check out the Australian Light Horse Assoc webb site they have details on there on how uniforms are worn and such. If not there is also a number of questions on this site on the wearing of trade badges. S.B
