MaxD Posted 6 May , 2019 Share Posted 6 May , 2019 Were there variations in the shoulder title for the London Scottish? My man is wearing the one pictured, but all others I've seen have simply LONDON beneath the 14. This seems to have LONDON SCOTTISH although I can't read the latter part of it. Would someone please clarify? Max

Would someone please clarify? Max Three versions Max. The first ‘T-14 County of London’, second ‘T-14 London’ and third ‘London Scottish’. The last one from 1916 on, when the ‘London Regiment’ as a discrete organisation was disbanded until after the war. Soldier images courtesy of the Imperial War Museum.
