He died 11.5.19171917, through illness Thomas Estcourt Rowles (Junior) served with the South African Infantry, Private, No. 2940 4th Regiment, 1st Eastern Cape Rifles. Can anyone recommend some reading on these two regiments. I can't find anything at all on the 6th. I am assuming it stayed in South Africa.
