Cadet battalion?

Normally a ‘C’ stands for Cadet (boys) Battalion, just as T stands for Territorial.  During WW1 a great many such cadet battalions were formed and it became a routine protocol for them to be affiliated with the nearest TF unit bearing the same cap badge.  With endemic war weariness post the Armistice, almost all were disbanded during the 1920s if not before.
