Ed ROBINSON

Greetings Chums, A young man in Perth West Australia is in the process of putting together a WW1 Australian film. I take my hat off to him as he is trying to get everything right. The last thing he wants is someone to point out things like using a Lewis gun in 1914!

The big battle scene is set in Polygon wood 1917. To this end if you have any pictures of Polygon wood and surrounding areas can you please send them to me and I will forward them on. I will include your details when I pass them on to him as he may need to talk to you about it.

Thanks Ed Robinson

I suggest contacting Johan Vandewalle at De Dreve café on the corner of Polygon Wood. What he doesn't know about the fighting in and around the wood isn't worth knowing. He has a large collection of photos, too.
