Joint War Committee Missing and Wounded Service

I am looking for records, either held in archives or more particularly in family collections, of contact between families of soldiers reported missing in action and the Joint War Committee Missing and Wounded Service.

 

This is as part of research for a book I am writing on the experience of such families, who experienced weeks and often months of waiting for definitive news of their loved one.
