Total casualties I do not know, but there are 124 deaths recorded by the CWGC, that either have a memorial or burial place on the peninsula.  86 are recorded on the Helles Memorial.

Pete, I misled you slightly in that not every month lists casualties and the whole of December pages are missing, so to save a trip to Wrexham

Landed at ANZAC 4th August 1915

August casualties recorded in text (sometimes simply as 'whole platoon and officers')

September recorded in text, this month the casualties are mentioned by name in some instances.

October   Officer killed  1

                 Other ranks killed  4

Wounded 29 OR

Sick 1 officer and 51 OR

November 6 OR killed

13 OR wounded

6 Officers sick and 130 OR

December the whole month is missing

January 1 officer killed and 5 sick

14 ORs killed

28 ORs wounded

1 OR  missing

46 ORs sick

Ken

Did the royal marines and flying corps take part in the gallipoli campaign?

The RND (Royal Naval Division) comprised Royal Marine Light Infantry (RMLI), RM Artillery (RMA) and naval and marine reservists surplus to sea requirements, so yes.

Royal Flying Corps (RFC) no, but the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) yes.

The RND had no RMA component by the time of Gallipoli, the RMA Battalion having been withdrawn from the RM Brigade on return from Ostend in early September 1914. The RM Brigade of the RND was, thereafter, RMLI only. Both RMA and RMLI did, of course, serve in HM ships engaged in the Gallipoli campaign
