Date on this telegram unclear

The attached comes from the Service Record of Lt Roderic Magrath OLIVER, 2nd Grenadier Guards. A further telegram dated 1 September 1918 informed his father that he had been KIA on the 28th (although the accepted date is now the 27th). The War Diary doesn't mention his death, but the Brigade HQ Diary has him in the list killed. 

 

Can anyone read the last word of the message? Is it meant to be the 26th?
