9893 Sgt Thomas McDougall Wood - Scots Guards

Could anyone help me please to locate confirmation that this chap won a MM or DCM?

I can't make out with any certainty the medal ribbon in the photo.

He arrived in France in Feb 1915 and has 4 years overseas service stripes

Thank you

His pension records are on Ancestry with a lot of service detail. If you have or can gain access - here.

There's an entry:

"Awarded MM DRO no.749 a/26/10/17"

Can't locate 1st SG war diaries after July 1915 on Ancestry - but they are downloadable (for a small fee) here at the National Archives

Thank you very much. Especially with the London Gazette search as I find their search engine to be a real handful!

Thanks Chris - couldn't find 1219 anywhere!
