Report post #1 Posted Friday at 16:23 (edited) I am researching a family member Pte T Kendrick 57779 18th Battalion K.L.R . According to the war diary as a result of a raid on the night of the 1 April 1917 he along with others was wounded, not fatally. My query is, how bad was his injury, what if any treatment was carried out , where would this have taken place and how long before he returned to his unit if he was hospitalised? Family legend has it that he was gassed during the war, could this have been the event? Thanks in advance for what I know will be an excellent reply.
