On Sunday's (07/04/2019) Antiques Roadshaw, someone brought in a small bronze statue of an emaciated Serbian Soldier afetr the retreat through Albania in 1915. If you would like to see it you can catch it on the BBC Iplayer.

Hi Gardenerbill . I watched the program and saw the statue. The expert said he thought that it was by a Belgium sculptor but personally I would have said it would be by a French artiste,  giving the history of France and Serbia. however who ever made it , it was a memorial to a terrible journey.

Hi Sarge,

Yes I would tend to agree a French or even Italian sculpture would seem more likely than Belgian.
