Sgt Stripes Posted 8 April , 2019 Share Posted 8 April , 2019 Hi Gardenerbill . I watched the program and saw the statue. The expert said he thought that it was by a Belgium sculptor but personally I would have said it would be by a French artiste, giving the history of France and Serbia. however who ever made it , it was a memorial to a terrible journey. Gardenerbill Posted 8 April , 2019 Author Share Posted 8 April , 2019 Hi Sarge, Yes I would tend to agree a French or even Italian sculpture would seem more likely than Belgian.
