Missing Men / St. George in the East memorial

I have been researching the men on the St. George in the East War Memorial for over a year.  The memorial is in a very poor condition but several years ago the Church tried to transcribe the names and they are listed on the Parish history website:

http://www.stgitehistory.org.uk/media/warmemorial.html

I have confirmed the majority of the names but have a couple I cannot locate:  there are 2 people with the name Pitcher (although this spelling could be wrong) but I cannot find a match and was wondering if anyone has a connection with this Parish or recognizes the name?

Hello

It may be worth contacting Historic England as they have many photographic archives and you may be lucky to find a photo of the memorial and be able to get a complete list of all the names. Their email address is archive@HistoricEngland.org.uk It is free to request a search, if you are lucky let me know as I could visit the archives and get a copy of the photo for you. The London Metropolitan Archives may also be able to help. local newspapers are also a good source.
