I am trying to locate a copy of the booklet, 'The XV Brigade Group at Le Cateau' written under the pseudonym 'Martin Gale'.

I wonder if any member has a copy or has access to one please. Its long out of print and very hard to find.

Many thanks

Mal

Hi David,

Many thanks for your reply.

Yes I was aware of Becke's Account of Le Cateau....the account i'm looking for was written by ex officers from XV Brigade and is a more detailed description of the battle from XV Brigade's point of view. This RA brigade took the brunt of the battle, being immediately in rear of the Suffolk's position and in advance of the Manchester's

I think the IWM hold a copy of this article so perhaps I will have to take a trip down to London.
