dhubthaigh Posted 27 March , 2019 Share Posted 27 March , 2019 The Perthshire Advertiser of 25th November, 1916 has an entry detailing that Pvt. R. King, Black Watch, was wounded on 13th inst. It also states his mother lived in Perth, his wife in Portobello. I have a man in a list of 1/6th Black Watch who went to France in May, 1915 that includes Robert J. King (L/C then Sgt.) 1447 (265228). I have tried to establish this casualty from sources available to me without success. Anyone with access to casualty lists/sources which may help to identify R(obert) King would be much appreciated. rgds., Mark
