OLD ROBIN HOOD Posted 21 March , 2019 Share Posted 21 March , 2019 Greetings from Sherwood Forest Can anyone help? I am trying to find the location of the 1st Battn of the York and Lancaster Regt on February 20th 1915. I know that they arrived in France mid January. I have a 1914-15 Star to 8596 Pte Willis Danby who was Killed in Action on that date. So as always any assistance would be much appreciated. clk Posted 21 March , 2019 Share Posted 21 March , 2019 Hi ORH, If you don't already have them, he has some surviving service papers (FMP here - they should also be on Ancestry). It also looks like he has a surviving will - link. Regards Chris
