Fundraising/Recruitment Dog Coat

This very unusual item came my way this week. It's handmade (although very well) and is a dog coat. It features the flags of Britain, France, Belgium and Imperial Russia as well as red crosses and red, white and blue ribbons. I've never seen anything like this before so it must be a rare survivor- I haven't risked putting it on a dog yet to see what it looks like being 'worn'!
