A wonderful documentary featuring some wonderful old men, several of whom I was privileged to meet.

 

I'm glad this programme has been preserved for posterity, and am very grateful to you for pointing it out.

This has got to be one of the most touching films I've seen in a very long time.....very haunting as said by Bardess

Thank you Mike,I said in an earlier post why cant the tv"boffins"re show some of the early documentaries rather than the rubbish i.e love island,geordy shore towie,

Probably not enough for the rating people

Thanks for posting Mike.

 

I hadn't seen that before. Very moving. I hope that by externalising their experiences not only adds to our understanding, but also helped them to come to terms (to some extent) with the horrors that they endured.
