Dear GWF Sleuths,

I have a reference to an RAMC Captain, E A Seager, who traveled to Australia aboard the transport City of Karachi in 1918. His qualifications are listed as MB ChB Edin (ie Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Edinburgh University), but he is not listed on the RAMC WW1 website  http://www.ramc-ww1.com/index.html .

I'd like to identify him and find out a little more about him, if possible, please. Are any of the GWF resident sleuths able to provide any info on him, please?

Thanks

Mike

He appears as Edward Aitken Seagar (NB different spelling) in the "Record of War Service" section of the Edinburgh University Roll of Honour 1914-1919, available on archive.org. The date of his graduation is given as 1913.

This may also be him:   http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C8053510

As may this, from Google Books - Seagar, Edward Aitken (1887), Prof. Tropical Hygiene and Dir. Tropical Diseases Research Labor., Imper. Coll. Port of Spain (Trinidad), ...
