Guest Posted 18 February , 2019 Share Posted 18 February , 2019 Hi, I'm currently doing some research into the RAMC and The Great War. I am wondering if the RAMC also used a 'red cross' on their kits, field hospitals, arm bands, carriages and vehicles. I know that the Red Cross also had their own units in the field, but I would imagine that a red cross was used by both the Red Cross and the RAMC as a mark of a medical unit. Ive seen some refs of RAMC units (horse drawn) with a cross on the side, and I would guess this would be red? Thanks
